Tivi - Handbag...

Check out this design of this handbag...
As it says on Ryan Wither and Paul Lewin's site, "Wooden panels are constructed in Sweden and are formed from birch and maple or walnut veneers depending on the purse. They are hand silk screened and finished with a satin lacquer finish to provide a resilient protective coating. All metal parts are stainless steel and machined in the US . The leather is a super soft goat skin. The purses are sewn and assembled in the US."
I think these are so well designed, crafted and are so unique. You should check out the other products they have - like jewelry...
Amazing!

These are paintings are by artist Jung Yeon Min. Her paintings, made of Acrylic on Canvas are beautiful and surreal. Her style reminds me of my favorite, Salvador DalĂ. She paints from memories stored in great corners of her vivid imagination, which can only be appreciated.
I love her work.

When I lived in Cincinnati, one of my most favorite stores was Z Gallerie. Now that I'm back in Buffalo, I can't get that fix - and man does it stink. Thankfully, they have a great online store (and facebook page!) that I frequent. In my new interior make-over frame of mind, I've been trying to decide what I like best from their store. I think the winner for the living room right now is the Aiden Chair and the Aiden Sofa! The Aiden Chair sells for $999.00 and the sofa, $1,299.00. They pair this ensemble with this painting, which I think compliments nicely.
Z Gallerie also has some great sales going on right now. Check it out!

These delicate napkin rings are made of clay and each hold representation of a different word - with the purpose of stirring up conversation, spurring up interaction and creating laughter at your next dinner party! Since these are made to order, you can choose the words you would like on your napkin rings. I thought these were pretty clever and a great shot at making a memorable dinner conversation.
On the other side of the rings is the hand-written word.
I think you could have a lot of fun with these!

Say hello to my new Brother sewing machine! It's computerized and regularly sells for over $160.00. Thanks to ebay, I got mine for only $85.00! This is really going to help me in the upcoming weeks. Time to speed up this process! I can't wait to get it in a week and play around with it. Hopefully, I can remember how to use one.

So lately, I have been fairly productive. I finished my high priority goals, etc., started coming up with new production ideas for my designs, and feel like am beginning to spiral upward into an all new creative level. I have been drawing again and even started taking photos - for the sake of actually trying to take better photos with good composition and different angles. Let's get one straight - I am certainly not a photographer! However, a little practice never hurt anybody! I am planning to get into printmaking this winter...So let's talk about the drawings... I've done {a} few so far this year. I think I was stuck drudging through some creative quick sand, but I'm out now.
My Illustrative Style:
1. A LOT of detail.
2. Fine Lines
3. Playful
4. All different subject

I guess a list cannot support a vision. So pictures will have to do. Here is a small taste of my latest. Remember: I am just getting back into it! Better, more completed drawings to follow!
My plan:
Products for the home with my designs... Fun and Modern. Just be patient, as prototypes of these items will be posted soon! In the meantime, enjoy pictures I post of my work and progressions I make in drawings and designs!
P.S. "Ruth" is my middle name!
